FAQs

  • Where are the suits manufactured?

The swim suits are custom designed in the UK by me. They are also manufactured in the UK which means lowering our carbon emissions and ensuring quality standards are always at its highest. I am proud to have an incredible team who aligns with the ethos and shares the vision I have.

  •  What fabric are the suits made of?

We use CARVICO VITA fabric which is made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon. ECONYL® yarn is a 100% regenerated nylon made from pre and post consumer nylon waste otherwise polluting the Earth like fishing nets, carpet flooring and industrial plastic rescued from all over the world. This yarn is then used to create the luxurious, soft and durable fabric we use to make Ro&Sea swimwear.

  • How are you aiming to be more environmentally friendly?

Our suits are made from a unique fabric, the Econyl® fiber supports the removal of marine debris from our ocean and is made from regenerated waste including ocean plastics, nylon scraps, and ghost fishing nets. Our packaging is also reusable, biodegradable and made of recycled materials. To learn more about Sustainability please click here.

  •  Will there be other sizes in the future?

Currently Ro&Sea carries XSmall, Small, Medium, Large, and XLarge. Once demand is determined, sizes may be expanded.

  • Do any of the tops come with padding?

Our tops are padding free, but are double lined!

  • How do I take care of the suit properly?

  1. Avoid contact with sunscreen and oils.

  2. Do not store while wet.

  3. Hand wash/machine wash on 30 degrees, rinse with cold water directly after use.

  4. Wash with gentle soap/detergent (free of harsh dyes, chemicals, and bleaches). Cold water alone is enough to clean the suit.

  5. Lay flat to dry.

  6. Do not tumble dry.

  7. Exposure to high chlorine levels, sunscreen/oils, rough surfaces, large waves etc. may cause premature wear. Ro&Sea swim cannot be held responsible for damages caused by incorrect care or the elements.  For our full care recommendations, click here.
